We want to thank all the contributors and locations for their efforts to make the first SALON/locale a great success. The event ran between the 19th to 26th of February showcasing local fashion, art, photography and design at various locations in and around Long Street and the CBD (Central Business District).
With every SALON/ we ask a designer or artist to interpret the event into a logo. For Salon/locale we have chosen Cape Town based illustrator duo Love and Hate Studio to create the logo and design the event layout.
SALON/locale has selected locations that provide a new context to how one interacts with fashion, design, photography and art.
The locations have been chosen especially for SALON/locale.
